‘Noah’s Law’ to better disclose movement of sex offenders introduced in Parliament

A private member's bill proposing changes to the Criminal Code and the Sex Offender Information Registration Act has been introduced in Parliament. "Noah's Law", formally known as Bill C-336, is named after 16-month-old Noah McConnell, who was murdered in September 2021. His mother Mchale Busch was sexually assaulted and later killed inside their Hinton apartment building. As Morgan Black reports, the bill aims to better disclose when convicted sexual offenders move to a new home.
