Tyre Nichols death: Last word on Earth was ‘mom’, family lawyer says about bodycam video

Ben Crump, the attorney for the family of Tyre Nichols, spoke Friday about bodycam video of the 29-year-old's encounter with police and said that he had called out for his mother three times in the video. Crump referenced a kidnapping charge laid against the five officers and said Nichols was "kidnapped for a simple traffic stop," questioning the officers' actions. "His last words on Earth [was] mom," Crump said.
