Surrey helping bring Ukrainian women’s softball team to B.C. tournament

Surrey city council is stepping up to the plate to help a Ukrainian women’s softball team compete in the international Canada Cup tournament next month. In a follow up to a story Global News brought you last week, council has voted to allocate up to $5,000 for the team after their funding fell through.
