Amy has been at Global BC since 2011, starting as an online journalist and working her way up to become the online supervisor.
Amy is an award-winning journalist based in Vancouver, having won multiple RTDNAs and Webster Awards for her work online at Global BC.
She has also appeared on Global News Morning, BC1 and Global News at Noon.
She has a Masters of International Journalism from City University in London, U.K., and worked at a newspaper and at an online publication before starting at Global BC.
Amy has reported on stories on all different subjects, occasionally travelling around the province to tell stories in different communities. She excels at breaking news and writing feature stories about women’s health-care and raising awareness around topics that in the past have been considered taboo.
