Destiny Meilleur is a 2021 graduate from the television broadcasting program at NAIT. She loves writing, editing and creating engaging content.
Destiny delivered the morning announcements at her high school — Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School — for three years, which started her passion for news and broadcasting. That is why she is so excited to be writing for Global News.
She has hosted many different events and spent time writing for her high school newspaper and The NAIT Nugget.
Destiny was raised in Sherwood Park and has spent a lot of her time volunteering.
She was a part of the Strathcona County Youth Council, Strathcona County Youth Rock, the youth advisory committee and she has always tried to get involved in as many community events as she could.
