Space exploration is in ‘a new era’ thanks to privatization: Canadian astronaut

For the first time since the Apollo program more than 50 years ago, NASA is planning to send astronauts on a lunar mission. Scheduled to lift off in November 2024, the 10-day mission named Artemis II will send four astronauts – including one Canadian – around the moon. Those on board may well travel further into deep space than any human has in history. "The West Block" host Mercedes Stephenson speaks with Jeremy Hansen, the Canadian astronaut serving on Artemis II, about the future of deep space exploration.
